Corrections
We make every effort to proof read and test our books and patterns many times before
being published. We are sorry that these misprints slipped into the following publications.

The name of the quilt on page 8 should be Sun Tiles.

Cutting light fabric:
Cut One 9" square (not 12-1/2") and cut it twice diagonally to make 4 triangles.

GE-136 Strip Off
Some patterns with the wrong fabric requirements for the dark/medium fabrics and sewn
strip units for the
TWIN size went into circulation, they have been reprinted but just in case,
here are the correct fabric requirements.
Crib size              Lap size              Twin size
Dark-Medium             18 strips of           30 strips of          54 strips of
2-1/2” strips.             3 color groups*  5 color groups*   9 color groups*
*for example, 6 red strips, 6 blue strips, 6 yellow strips and so on.

Light 2-1/2” strips          12 strips          18 strips         31 strips
(strips need to be at least 42” long, usable fabric, not measuring selvages)
Binding                1/2 yd.        2/3 yd.        3/4 yd.
Backing                1-1/2 yds.        3 yds.          5-1/3 yds.

If using fat EIGHTS instead of strips (make sure the fat eights have at least 21” of usable
fabric lengthwise)
Dark/mediums           15 fat 8’s           25 fat 8’s            43 fat 8’s
from                            3 color groups   5 color groups    9 color groups
Lights                           8 fat 8’s          12 fat 8’s         21 fat 8’s

Inside the pattern, step 1 should read:
1.        Arrange your strips into color families, you should have 3 color families for crib size,
5 for lap size and
9 for twin size. Take 5 strips from each color family and sew them
together into a strip unit. Press the seams in the same direction, their width should
measure 10-1/2”. Make 3 strip units for crib size, 5 for lap size and
9 for twin size.  Subcut
the strip units into 10-1/2” squares. You will get 4 squares out of each strip unit and then
you will have 12 squares for crib size, 20 for lap size and 35 for twin size.

GE-140 Strip Twist
In a few places in the pattern, the largest size of the quilt is referred to as a Full size, but it
should always be Twin size.  The pattern has 3 sizes, crib, lap and
TWIN.

GE-141 Strip Stacks
In the cutting instructions in the pattern, the largest size of the quilt is referred to as a Twin
size, but it should  be
Full size.

Strip Requirements for the Crib and Full size should read:
                                                  Crib size                    Full size
Dark-Medium 2-1/2" strips                    13 strips                   57 strips

For the Half Block Assembly, the steps should be numbered 5.-8. and not 1.-4.

GE-502 Fast & Furious
Page 7, Afternoon Snack Runner.
In steps 2 and 6, the squares should be folded with the WRONG sides together and not
right sides together. In the second printing of the book, this mistake has been corrected.

Page4, Lucky Charms Runner.
In step 2, the squares should be folded with the WRONG sides together and not right sides
together. In the second printing of the book, this mistake has been corrected.

Page 24, The Runaround Bag
In the last testing of the pattern we determined that no stabilizer would be needed for the
handles but forgot to remove the cutting information for it. In the cutting for the stabilizer,
ignore the two 2" x 20-1/2" strips for the handles.

GE-503 Strip On
Page 24, Pinball Wizard.
In the fabric requirements the number of strips needed were wrong for the Crib Size. The
correct number of strips needed is 16.
Also in step 3, quilt assembly; the twin size set should be 5 x 7 blocks so the size of the
Twin is actually 64-1/2" x 83-1/2".

GE-206 Quilts for Olivia
Page 2, Jewels.
In the fabric requirements the amount needed for Fabric E is 3/4 yard instead of 1/2 yard.

GE-504 Fast & Furious Holiday
Page 11, Trick or Treat Wall Hanging.
In step 4 the first sentence is missing in the instructions. It should say:
"Place the folded 3" fabric A squares on all four corners of the unit from step 3 and pin
down."
In the second printing of the book, this mistake has been corrected.

Page 22, Spruce Lane Runner.
In step 5, it refers to the step 5 units but it should be step 4 units.

Note: If you are having trouble with the center units fitting in this pattern, read the following:

The actual measurements for the cutting should have been 6-5/16 for the center square
and 4-7/8 for the triangles. Since I don't want to use "sixteenths" in my cutting instructions, I
went up to the next size which is a 6-1/2". With that size of a square, the triangles needed to
be a little larger too. It's usually better to have things bigger rather than smaller. Most of the
testers came back with this working out fine because when you sew through the backing
and batting, your seam allowances get a little bigger. There were 2 testers that came back
with this being too large for the other pieces so they had to go down to a 6-1/4" square and
4-7/8" triangles and then things worked out. If your unit is more than a 1/4" larger than the
trunk units, I recommend making the adjustments.
