| Ideas for GE-201 Indian Peaks Block of the Month The Indian Peaks pattern is a great pattern to use for a 4- month block of the month. The great advantage is that participants would only need to buy one pattern which retails for $9.95, which keeps the cost of the kits down. That is sometimes a turn off for customers when they add up the total cost for the quilt. It is also a shorter BOM program with only 4 months which will eliminate dropout and encourage participants to finish. First month would be fabric for Block 1, month 2 would be for Block 2, month 3 would be for Blocks 3a and 3b and the last month would include all the finishing fabrics, borders and binding. Indian Peaks Class – 4 sessions The pattern is a great choice for a class with its full color illustrations. It is great for quilters that would like the atmosphere of a classroom for their first attempt to sew a bed sized quilt. The length of each class could vary from 3-5 hrs, depending on how much homework would be needed. The first 3 classes could be shorter and then more time could be allowed for the last class.
